※ Revised Application Method and Schedule for the 2026 Global Korea Scholarship Program for Undergraduate degrees (GKS-U) | 2026 정부초청 외국인 학부 장학생 선발 변경 공고: Due to the suspension of the Study in Korea online system, application submission through the system is currently unavailable. Accordingly, the application method and schedule have been revised as follows: Applicants must submit their application documents directly (in person, by mail, etc.) to the first round of selection institutions (embassy track or university track)* by the deadline. * First round of selection institutions - Embassy Track: Korean Embassy in your country - University Track: GKS-designated universities Applicants who have already submitted their applications online are also required to resubmit their complete application documents to the first round of selection institutions by the deadline. Please contact the relevant first round of selection institution for specific instructions regarding document submission. The Regional University Track (R-GKS) under the University Track has been changed to the Embassy Track . 2. All applicants who wish to apply to Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU) must apply only through the Embassy Track . (Submit your application to the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Korea in your country.) 3. The first round of screening will be conducted by the Korean diplomatic mission. There is no need to submit or send documents to the university . Applicants to the College of Maritime Sciences must submit a Seafarer's Medical Certificate separately to the university (see attached file). 4.
