( 사례 1) 출입국심사과 대표번호 (02-2110-4039), 국제형사과 (02-2110-3294), 법무부 고객지원센터 (02-2110-3000), 외국인종합안내센터 (02-6908-1345) 등 법무부 소속부서 및 소속기관의 전화번호가 표출되도록 전화를 걸어 담당자를 사칭 ( 담당자 이름 언급 ) 하며 사건에 연루되어 있다면서 검찰청 출석 또는 개인정보 요구 ※ 법무부 고객지원센터 (02-2110-3000) 번호는 수신 전용으로 발신이 불가한 번호입니다 . ※ 외국인종합안내센터 (1345 콜센터 ) 의 경우 발신번호는 02-6908-1345 로 표출되지 않으며 , 해외 거주 외국인을 대상으로 전화를 드리지 않습니다 . ( 사례 2) 출입국 직원 ( 특정 심사관 ) 을 사칭하며 특정국의 출입국 여부를 질의하고 , 동남아 등 고위험 국가에서 발생한 여러 사기 및 살인사건을 나열하며 출입국사무소 어플을 다운받으라고 요구 법무부 소속부서 및 기관에서 검찰청 출석 , 개인정보 등 제공 , 스마트폰 어플 다운로드를 요구하는 경우 보이스피싱을 의심하시어 피해를 입지 않도록 유의하여주시기 바랍니다 . [Urgent Notice from Korea Immigration Service] Fraudsters are illegally using the phone numbers of Ministry of Justice offices and impersonating government officials. Recently Identified Voice Phishing Cases: Scammers are using the following Ministry of Justice phone numbers: 02-2110-4039 (Border Control Division) 02-2110-3294 (International Criminal Affairs Division) 02-2110-3000 (Customer Service Center) 02-6908-1345(The 1345 Immigration Contact Center) Please note: The Customer Service Center (02-2110-3000) is for incoming calls only. It does not make outgoing calls. The 1345 Immigration Contact Center does not make calls to people staying abroad, and its incoming call number is not 02-6908-1345. Scammers are impersonating officials from multiple departments of the Ministry of Justice. These scammers may call you and falsely claim hat you are involved in a criminal case. They may demand that you visit the prosecutor’s office or provide personal information. A scammer impersonates an immigration officer, asking whether you visited a certain country. They may mention serious crimes such as fraud or murder that occurred in that country. Then, they demand that you download an immigration-related app on your smartphone. Stay alert.
