Registration for Spring 2023 part-time courses at Korea Maritime & Ocean University (Chancellor Deog-Hee Doh) is now open.
Part-time enrollment allows students eligible for university admission to take part-time courses at a university and earn university degrees.
This Academic Credit Bank System can help students obtain a degree while those who already have degrees can major in a new field of study. The system also offers an opportunity for students to complete a course, which is a prerequisite for acquiring a certificate or taking an examination.
To acquire a bachelor's degree at Korea Maritime & Ocean University, part-time students must meet all the requirements by registering for recognized courses according to the Act on Recognition of Credits, etc. and completing a minimum of 84 credits.
Eligible applicants include high school graduates or graduates-to-be and those with an equivalent or higher education in accordance with the law.
Registered part-time students can take the same courses as full-time students and earn up to 12 credits per semester.
Korea Maritime & Ocean University is accepting 137 part-time students in 27 departments in Spring 2023 to earn a major in their chosen subject.
The registration period is from January 16 to January 18, 2023. Applications and required documents can be submitted in person or by registered mail.
Successful applicants will be announced on the university website (www.kmou.ac.kr) on February 6, 2023. For more information, including details about the screening process, please refer to the guidelines posted on the website.
