Alumnus of the School of Department of Navigation, Kwak Sangmin, elected as the Vice President of the International Maritime Pilots’ Association
Kwak Sangmin, a graduate of the School of Department of Navigation at KMOU, was elected as the Vice President of the International Maritime Pilots’ Association (IMPA).
The IMPA is a non-profit organization that represents more than 8,360 members from 51 countries. It protects the activities and interests of pilots and plays a pivotal role in relevant international maritime forums.
Kwak Sangmin, from the class of ’83, is a pilot of the Ulsan Harbor Pilot, and has experience serving as a captain of HMM, a senior researcher at Samsung Heavy Industries, and a navigator at SK Shipping.
