"The Office of International Affairs (Director Kim Jung-hoon) held the first session of the 'Global Guest Lecture Series' on October 29, aimed at helping international exchange students and domestic students adapt to university life in Korea and enhance their global competencies.“

"This lecture was designed to provide international exchange students at our university with information necessary for adapting to Korean university life, academic adjustment, and cultural understanding, as well as to create opportunities for interaction among students from diverse backgrounds. It was conducted with the operational support funds provided by the RISE Project Group.“

"This semester, a total of 21 international exchange students from 12 universities across 11 countries are studying at our university. They were selected through various international exchange programs, including the GKS Student Support Program by the National Institute for International Education of the Ministry of Education, the Campus Asia Korea-Japan-China Expansion Program, and the AIMS Program. A total of 50 participants, including the 21 international exchange students, other international students, and domestic students, attended the program, creating a vibrant platform for interaction.“

"The lecture, titled 'How Culture Shapes How We Think and Feel,' was delivered by Professor Eun-Jeong Shim from the Department of Psychology at Pusan National University. During the session, students explored the cultural factors that shape Korean thought and emotions, compared and reflected on these with their own cultural backgrounds, and enhanced both their academic insights and intercultural communication skills."

"Kim Jung-hoon, Director of the Office of International Affairs, stated, 'This lecture provided a meaningful opportunity for exchange students to adapt smoothly to university life in Korea and, more broadly, to cultivate a global perspective while respecting diverse cultures.' He added, 'We will continue to develop tailored programs to support exchange students in the future.'"
