The Office of International Affairs (Director: Kim Jeong-hoon) successfully operated a variety of global cultural experience booths during the 2025 ARCH Sea Festival Week, held together with local community residents. The event took place over two days, on the 27th and 28th, and marked its second year following its initial launch in 2024. The booths, led by international students, saw enthusiastic participation from undergraduate and Korean language program students from countries such as Sri Lanka, Mexico, and Panama, creating a meaningful opportunity to showcase the unique cultures of their home countries. . The Sri Lankan team captured visitors’ taste buds by preparing traditional dishes, while the Mexican and Panamanian teams offered a variety of interactive activities in line with the Halloween season, creating a vibrant space for cultural exchange for both on- and off-campus participants. Kim Jeong-hoon, Director of the Office of International Affairs, said, “During the 80th University Festival, the active participation of international students in running the booths helped realize our university’s global vision and foster a campus atmosphere where diverse cultures coexist. We will continue to provide international students with opportunities to engage in festival activities and meaningful cultural exchange.”
