On April 2, the World Ocean Development Institution of KMOU held a workshop for the policy establishment of fostering Myanmar sailors in the BPA Convention Hall at the Center for International Affairs.
This workshop was arranged in a bid for the development planning project for developing countries. This is the ‘academic cooperation program 2015’ which is supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
At this workshop, many honored guests attended; including professors of the Myanmar Maritime University, the Dean of the College of Maritime Science, the General Manager of the Busan Ocean & Fisheries Bureau and the Vice-President of KOSMA.
During the workshop, participants made their presentations and discussed currents issues; the current situation and problems on the fostering Myanmar sailors, Introduction to Korean advanced education & policy for sailors, Discussion on how to cooperate in the field of maritime between Korea and Myanmar.
