KMOU's ROTC cadets were commissioned as officer through the ceremony of commissioning at Grand Auditorium on March 4th, 2014.

Many family members and honored guests including Yang Jin-Kuk, chief vice president of ROTC Alumni Association attended the ceremony. While 68 cadets of the 59th Period Training Group were commissioned as an ensign after completing two years' military training, 91 cadets of the 60th Period Training Group after completing one year's training were promoted on this day. Also, 51 members of the 61st and the 62nd Period Training Groups, who just completed the basic military training, were inducted into the ROTC.

President Park Han-Il of KMOU celebrated them, saying, "they will become the core members of the military in the future as well as the leaders for the 21st century society" and "I'm sure that they can go through various adversities well with youthful ambition and passion."
