KMOU’s TS Hanbada had a ceremony of departure to visit Dokdo and Ulleung Island as part of Love Korea-Love Homeland campaign with 160 participants from multi-cultural families in Busan.
The event was supported by KRX (Korea Exchange) Happy Foundation in order to provide opportunities for multi-cultural families to establish their identity as Korean and deepen their understanding of the historical value of 'Dokdo' as Korea’s territory.
For the event that will last for 3 days until Aug 16, various programs are scheduled including a special lecture on 'Understanding Dokdo and the Importance of Ocean', tour of Dokdo Museum and Observation Platform for Dokdo Islets, flash mob performance and so on. All participants are going to be conferred an honorary certificate of residence at Dokdo.
