New Year's Kick-Off Meeting & Greetings for 2013

On January 2nd, Korea Maritime University held the New Year's kick-off meeting and greetings with all faculty members and students in the Multi-purpose Hall on the fifth floor of Oullim Building.

This event consisted of an awards ceremony, rice-cake cutting and making New Year's resolutions. The following awards were given to faculty members and employees:

 ○Award Certificate for an Excellent Government Official for 2012

 ○Award Certificate for an Exemplary Official for the Second Half of 2012

 ○Award Certificate for the Operation of the University Information Disclosure System

 ○Award Certificate for the Management of the University Academic System

 ○Award Certificate in Financial Accounting

 ○Award Certificate for University Self-Evaluation

 ○Award Certificate for the Management of National Property

 ○Award Certificate for the Operation of the University's Comprehensive Festival

President Han-il Park in his New Year's address stated that we should "Change or Die" and emphasized the importance of a creative mind, unity and harmony among KMU members to enhance the university's competitiveness.
